 There are all kinds of accommodation available around Glastonbury, with a number of popular camping sites being based on the outskirts of the town, such as the Isle of Avalon site on Godney Road. Within central Glastonbury there are also a number of small hotels, guesthouses and similar B&Bs, which often occupy period town houses and are close to the shops.
Lodging in the town is usually quite affordable, although once a year at the end of June, when the Glastonbury Festival is taking place, all accommodation quickly fills up. However, most festival-goers prefer to camp onsite and soak up the atmosphere, rather than stay in local hotels.

Those looking for budget lodging in central Glastonbury are unlikely to find anything cheaper than the aptly named Glastonbury Backpackers hostel on the Market Place, which occupies the former Crown Hotel and comes complete with cafe, bar and live music. There is also a YHA hostel close by, in the nearby town of Street.
B&Bs and hotels in Glastonbury generally provide a more than adequate breakfast, together with evening meals and vegetarian options and even aromatherapy. The town's most popular accommodation includes the centrally located Pilgrims B&B on Norbins Road, the George and Pilgrims Inn on the High Street, and the Berachah Hotel on Wellhouse Lane.
Also of note is Glastonbury's Who'd Have Thought It Inn on Northload Street, which is a charming local pub with an excellent restaurant and accommodation in the form of five guest rooms. Do bear in mind that wherever you choose to stay, hotels with views of the famous Glastonbury Tor itself are at a premium and you will likely pay extra for these rooms, regardless of the time of year.
